We are excited to embark on a journey of discovery, exploration, and collaboration in the dynamic field of microbiology. Your participation in this first international conference on “Advancements of Microbiology” on 7-9th of April 2025 will allow us to share a commitment to pushing the boundaries of knowledge and making an impact. Together we will navigate the complex areas of medical and environmental microbiology.

Topics addressed during the conference will include progress in the areas of medicine and the environment. Medically grounded sessions will include.: surveillance genomics and microbial diagnostics, research on the host-pathogen interactions and prevention of infectious diseases, as well as using innovative approaches in basic microbiology research. The environment-related topics, on the other hand, will include: the importance of the soil microbiome for sustainable agriculture, the use of microorganisms in the food industry, role of microbes in preventing climate change and circular economy bioremediation processes of polluted soil and water. The sessions will consist of lectures by participants, carefully selected by a group of reviewers from various research centers. The sessions will be led by moderators representing a given area, including an experienced scientist and a representative of young scientists.
